Satin Gala Gown

I designed and sewed this floor-length satin gown for a formal gala. I used draping to draft a pattern and create a mockup. The gown is made from bias-cut satin, finished with an elegant tie and a cowl in the back. I also created the satin scarf to accent the gown.

Flowy Knit Top
I designed this top to wear on a trip to Japan. Cut from a soft, drape-able white jersey knit fabric, it's the perfect combination of style and comfort. Perfect with a pair of jeans or dressed up with a mini skirt.
To create this top, I cut two large rectangles from my fabric, with the back being longer than the front to create dimension. I then created a facing for the dramatic boat neckline. I sewed the sleeves straight across and down, leaving the excess corner of fabric to drape and fall in a point, as you can see on the left.

Bedsheet to Bedtime

I created this pajama set out of a vintage bedsheet. Soft and breathable with a gorgeous floral pattern, these sheets were the perfect sustainable fabric choice.

Quilted Tote Bag

This quilted gingham totebag is the perfect accessory! I designed it to perfectly fit my laptop and a few notebooks. Created from a red cotton gingham outer with a layer of batting and a pink lining (repurposed from an old bedsheet!) I measured out, marked, and stitched the quilting grids, drafted a thick & versatile strap, and added a bow for decoration.
